District 16 Photography is locally owned by Sooke parents who are active in the community we serve. Our vision is to capture photos that parents will cherish, while making the process easy and "hands off" for the school administrators. We understand that "photo day" can be a burden, but it doesn't have to be if you book District 16 Photography.
Booking District 16 Photography means that
you will experience a Seamless End to End Process.
Photo Day is what we do, it shouldn't impact what you do.
Planning & promotion
From the moment you book, we are here to do the heavy lifting. We will prepare:
- A unique site plan for the efficient and safe flow of students
- Detailed schedule so that each teacher knows what to expect.
- Event posters and messaging for parents to save your time
Coordination
On Photo Day, we will arrive early to maximize the time with students.
Our On-Site Coordinator will be your primary liaison between the school administrators, educators, and us. No guessing or time wasted trying to find someone to talk to. You will be informed throughout the day and have immediate access to our team if a problem should arise.
Close Out
We won't leave you with a mess! We will provide:
- Student hand outs so parents know what to expect
- Online ordering - No cash or paper forms!
- Direct support for parents
- Print orders delivered in person and bundled for each classroom. No additional sorting needed!
Minimal Disruption
Minimal disruption to what matters most on photo day, educating young minds. Our on-site coordinator will ensure the day goes smoothly with minimal impact to your administrators, teachers, and classroom time.

Confident children who feel safe and welcomed. Students can feel vulnerable in front of a camera which is why our team always shows kindness and patience. We strive to reduce fear by demonstrating tolerance and delivering a service that is free of stigma and focused on inclusion.
